About Sceniq
Sceniq is a travel guide marketplace that turns a creator's favorite spots into an interactive map guide, for travelers who plan trips around the places they see on Instagram and TikTok.
Each guide is walked and written by the creator who sells it. You buy it once, and it is yours to keep.
What Sceniq does
One product for two people: the traveler who wants to know where to go, and the creator who already knows.
Interactive map guides
Each guide opens as a map of one region with a pin for every spot. A spot carries photos, the creator's own notes and the facts that decide a day out: how you get there, how hard it is and when the light is best. Filters cut the map down to the trip you are actually taking.
Guides you buy once and keep
A guide is a one-time purchase at a price its creator sets, from $9. It attaches to the email used at checkout and opens in the browser on any phone or laptop you sign into. Nothing renews and nothing expires.
A guide builder for creators
Creators add their spots, upload photos and write their notes, and the builder turns them into a structured guide with collections and filters. Entering a spot takes a few minutes, and a first draft of a real guide takes an afternoon.
A sales page on sceniq.earth
Every guide gets a designed sales page at the creator's own address on sceniq.earth, built from their photos and words. Buyers see what is inside before they pay, and the creator has one link to put in their bio.
Checkout, VAT, receipts and payouts
Sceniq sells every guide as merchant of record through a Stripe checkout. It handles VAT, receipts, refunds and payment questions, and pays each creator's share out through Stripe.
An API for AI-assisted drafting
Creators can connect an AI agent such as Claude, Cursor or Codex to the Sceniq creator API and MCP server to draft a guide from their own notes and photos. The agent drafts; the creator reviews every spot and publishes.

One author who has been there
Every guide has one named creator who walked it and wrote every note, and every photo that is not their own carries a credit. A person reads each creator application before anyone can sell. Review sites like Tripadvisor pool the opinions of many travelers; on Sceniq, one author answers for every pin.
A map you plan on, not a PDF
Many travel creators sell their guides as PDF downloads through shops like Gumroad. A Sceniq guide is an interactive map instead: every spot carries its access, effort and best light, and filters cut the whole guide down to what fits your day.
Pay once, no subscription
A guide costs a one-time price set by its creator, from $9, and stays in your account after that. Many outdoor apps charge by the year instead: AllTrails Plus, for example, renews at $35.99 a year.
Creators keep 85 percent
The platform keeps a flat 15 percent of each sale, which already covers payment processing, tax handling, hosting and payouts, and creators pay nothing up front or monthly. On Rexby, creators keep 80 percent of guide sales from their own channels and 50 percent of the sales Rexby brings in.
No ads or affiliate links
A Sceniq guide earns only from the traveler who buys it, so every spot is in it because its creator recommends it. Rexby lets creators earn commission when followers book hotels, activities or transport through their guides; Sceniq guides carry no affiliate links, ads or sponsored placements.

Leon is the Swiss photographer behind Hikebeast. He has spent many summers finding photo and hiking spots in the Alps, and his guide, Gems of Switzerland, was the first on Sceniq.
Every photo he posted brought the same question: where is this? His guide answers it once, as a map with a pin for every spot, his photos and his notes, instead of one DM at a time.
How Sceniq works
Everything runs by email, and a person reads every message on both sides.
For travelers
- Browse the explore page. Every sales page shows the region, the number of spots and sample photos before you pay.
- Pay once through a Stripe checkout. The guide attaches to the email you used, and the confirmation email leads to your library.
- Open the guide in the browser on any phone or laptop, signed in with that email. There is nothing to install.
- Questions go to support@sceniq.earth. If a guide is broken, does not match its listing or you were charged in error, write within 14 days; approved refunds reach you through Stripe in 5 to 10 business days.
For creators
- Apply with the one-minute form, or email creators@sceniq.earth with your channels and the region you want to cover.
- A person reads every application. If it fits, your invite arrives by email and you can start building the same day.
- Build your guide and its sales page in the dashboard. Every guide is reviewed before it appears on the store.
- Connect Stripe for payouts. You see every sale and your stats in the dashboard, and your share arrives without invoicing anyone.
