Outdoor safety

Sceniq is in development
Sceniq is still being built and is not live yet. Once development is finished, Sceniq will be operated by a different company, and these pages will name it before it takes over.
Sceniq guides describe real outdoor places. Conditions change: weather turns, trails close, water levels rise, rules and access change. Information in a guide can be outdated or wrong, and a downloaded guide does not update itself while you are offline.
You are responsible for your safety
Plan your route, check current local conditions and regulations, carry suitable equipment, and turn back when in doubt. A guide is not a safety device and no app replaces your own judgment in the field.
In an emergency
112 is the emergency number across the EU and works in Switzerland too. In Switzerland, 1414 reaches Rega air rescue and 144 the ambulance service. Emergency calls need phone signal, not mobile data: offline maps do not help you call, and remote areas can have no coverage at all.
